For anyone who loves the great outdoors, the 2012 Sydney 4WD and Adventure Show is the place to be! The Show, which is in its third year, is shaping up to be the biggest one yet with major name brands exhibiting, the inclusion of the Tinnie and Tackle area, and so much more entertainment and attractions. More than 200 exhibitors will be at the Show this year, and there's heaps to see and do!
The Show is being promoted on metro and regional TV, radio, local and state newspapers, and online promotions.

Roothy - Live each day at the Show will be 4WD Actions Roothy who will be there to entertain the crowds with his tales of travelling. Always a big hit, Roothy will be on the Engel Bush Camp Stage three times per day across the weekend; and then you can meet him for a photograph in the 4WD Action tent.
Pat Callinan - Dont miss Mr 4x4 Pat Callinan who will be at the Show on Friday. Pat is making an appearance on the main stage to speak about his experiences 4 wheel driving and camping across the country, so dont miss the chance to hear from him!
Paul Worsteling - For the fishing fans, dont miss Paul Worsteling from IFish. Paul is one of the most well known fishing presenters in Australia and is sure to have a story or two to share at the fishing stage.
Ernie Dingo - The Engel Bush Camp stage will be hosted this year by Ernie Dingo - make sure you come down and have a yarn to Ernie!
Mark Geyer - And if you want a laugh, Triple Ms Mark Geyer will be appearing at the Show on Saturday morning to host the Man Up Challenge. This event is part of the Shows promotions and will see three candidates battling it out to win a $5000 prize pack. Mark and the Triple M crew will be hosting the Man Up Challenge at the Engel Bush Camp stage on Saturday morning.
ARB Recovery Demos - Well show you all the best recovery tricks at the ARB Recovery Pit. Demonstrations will be run continuously across the weekend, with a focus on things on specialist recovery techniques two and three line winching, hi-lift jack, using bull bags, hand winches and more. Get all the know-how thanks to ARB.
Fishing Stage - Fishing and boating is a massive part of this years Show. If you love your fishing, youll love the fishing demos presented all weekend long at the fishing stage. Hear from the experts as they give you their best angling tips and demonstrations using the Supertank Plus catch Paul Worsteling from IFish!
Tough Dog Extreme 4x4 Show - Always a popular part of the 4WD and Adventure Show is the Extreme Show. Come check out professional competition truck drivers as they tackle the obstacles of the course. The Tough Dog mountain, a massive pile of rocks, is sure to test the drivers skills and make for exciting viewing! The Extreme Show is presented three times daily.
Overlander Test Track - Experience 4 wheel driving first hand by taking a test ride in a new vehicle on the Overlander 4WD Test track. The track is used for various demonstrations throughout the weekend, including new car demos, and is free to get involved. The test track features different sections designed to simulate real life situations, including sand, water crossing, hill descents and ascents and rocky trails. Each section is designed to demonstrate the vehicles ability in off road situations. Theres no better way to see how well your favourite vehicle performs than to experience a ride on the test track!
Engel Bush Camp Stage - The Engel Bush Camp stage will be a hive of activity all weekend long. We will have Jo Clews presenting camp oven cooking demonstrations, plus the Shows special guests Roothy and Pat Callinan will be on stage to speak to crowds about their 4 wheel driving experiences. There will be new product reviews, giveaways and much more. Stage MC is Ernie Dingo.
Kids Entertainment - The 4WD and Adventure Show is a family day out, and we havent forgotten about the kids! Therell be plenty to see and do, with bouncy castle, rock climbing wall and face painting. Plus with heaps of food and drink on sales, and plenty of shaded areas to sit, the day is sure to be enjoyed by the whole family.
We are excited to have all the major 4WD brands exhibiting including Holden, Nissan, Ford, Suzuki, Kia, Honda, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Volkswagen, Skoda and Toyota.
An exciting addition to the Show, Holden will be displaying the new Colorado. Hyundai will bring the new Santa Fe; the new Volkswagen Amorak; Toyota will display the new LandCruiser 200, HiLux 4x4 and LC70, the Prado Kakdu Turbo/Diesel and the FJ Cruiser; plus visitors can also check out the newest models Ford Ranger and Territory Diesel, plus the new D-Max from Isuzu.
Visitors could not only check out the new release models on display, but could even take a test ride as a passenger on the Overlander Test Track. The cars that will be on the track this year include Defender 90, Freelander, Pajero VRX 3.2 Cdi Auto, Triton GLX-R Dual Cab, Colorado (auto and manual), Mazda BT 50, Toyota 200 series Hilux dual cab, Prado, VW Amarok dual cab Highline TDI420 and more.
Plus 4wd enthusiasts will get excited about this one - Roo Systems is bringing the Glen Hadden 200 series and will have it on the test track. Take a ride in this one and see how good it is!
