• 5 working groups:
Volunteers group
Leader: Lee Dunstan (Black Diamond)
A group focused on defining the required positions for the volunteers, promoting within the clubs the im-portance of registering to volunteer early. Helping design the volunteer information pack.
This is a vital part of the show requiring people with great organisational skills
Kids Area group
Leaders: Glen Wilgress (Crossed Up 4x4) and Denley Richards (Macarthur 4x4)
Design the layout of the kids area and plan kid friendly activities, the purpose is while the kids are distracted parents will be in a relaxed atmosphere allowing them to check out the clubs stands.
We are looking for a number of clubs members to have positive input… so bring your ideas.
Set up group
Leader: Nigel Ward (Sydney District)
A group of club delegates committed to understand the plans and commit time to focus on the setting up of the “Club area” this will require managing other show volunteers during the set up process.
Pack up group
Leaders: Charlie Grasso (Dust & Dirt) and Brett Channell (Dust & Dirt)
This group will manage the team of volunteers committed to pack up the “club area” a vital role every year we find people can’t make the show but wish to contribute this is a very important task.
Promotions/ Media group
Leader: Elias Wehbe (Crossed up 4x4)
A group focused on promoting the 4wd association and its members leading up to the show and during the show, If you are creative help design some flyers or the clubs booklet, If you love Facebook and social media or handy with a camera this is a great opportunity for you to help.
The working groups have been created to allow individuals to focus on their strengths we ask each club to send any of your members you feel would be a positive addition to any of the above groups. During this time we need to finalise all activities and jobs to make sure the show runs smoothly. A run sheet would be recommended and allocation of tasks during this time.
• Report back to whole group an action plan to set agenda for next meeting.
