TOPIC: Secretary Area for Club's Membership

what will be happening with the club administration side of things. will we be able to manage it ourselves?

This is going to operate a little differently. In essence I plan to have an area where delegates/presidents can update details of their club and committee, however for individual users you can sign them up or they can sign themselves up.

thanks Dom, you are going to be spending a lot of time answering questions. BTW, i like the message text actually coming up on the email notification, saves getting on to the site if access is difficult or blocked.

Everytime I enter the new site I am impressed. Another couple of questions:

1. Will there be a section for club secetary's to enter club's membership information,ect ect?
2. Will there be a section to lodge trip reports to NP's and Forest's.

Yes and yes!

It will be a little different than the old site but in essence we will capture the same information. The only change will be it wont be directly linked to the back end database so a little bit of manual manipulation will be required.

In the end where this site will save hours in other areas it may create a little bit of work with things like this. Of course I will be constantly looking for quicker ways to achieve a lot of this.

Watch this space......hopefully the trip reports will be up in the next few days along with a Club info section.
