Registration.

The subject has been raised as to who monitors registrations for the new web site?

If the clubs do not confirm membership, how is the forum registrations culled for non-members?

We are coming up to that time of the year when membership renewal may mean that memberships to forum members may be an issue.

A realy good question and one that we have spent a lot of time trying to come up with an answer, the old system just did not work, so we have to come up with something new, we think we are close and have a few ideas.

my thoughts were that at least the administrative representative of each club, be it president or secretary or whatever, should be able to see who has joined under their club's name. this would aid the president in trying to get more people to apply for access as we'd be able to target the ones that have stayed away. it would also allow us to easily cull non-financial members from a list - tick boxes for approval would be easy. leave the info on there in case they rejoined, but have and "access allowed/denied" tickbox
an email alert used to work fine one the old site, why can't it work here? when someone nominates the club they belong to, it should automatically send the info to the president of that club for approval. in some cases, it could all be done within the hour.

The LRE - NSW Secretary received a request for membership confirmation a day or two ago so it appears that there IS a system in place at the moment.

So Roger if you received a request then you would be one of the first, maybe because your club would be a clean slate so to speak.
