TOPIC: Just a few ideas

ok firstly the site looks great better then the old one

*contact list
Would email contacts for all committee members ie "Membership and Insurance: Ron Owen: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it."
Would it be possible to also have the region committee details there as well, so people can contact certain people from there region.

Can we get similar sections to the old forum like

General chat area including
general chat,
Joke section,
ebay,
DIY
My club
Member introductions

Sale / buy Area
For sale
wanted
Needed
Good service / discount

Trip area including
trip report,
trip logs
way points
gps info,
good places
camping spots

just a few idea lol

Re the contacts for the exec, yes we are going to have them all up including the subcommittee as well.

It's coming.....just watch this space.

As for all the forum topics, we discussed within the exec and at the AGM that we aren't going to try to replicate our own club sites. There will be a certain amount of general topics but we really don't want to go down that path. The forum is really aimed at getting information to clubs and getting feedback.

The other forum is really not being used because there are so many topics and sections that it is just a behemoth that is mainly unused.

I never saw a joke section on the old one!

.....maybe we should have a joke section.

May encourage more onto the site!
